Hi! I’m Conor. Dad to a daughter and a son, husband to Wendy. Wendy and I had our daughter in 2012 and it’s safe to say that nothing’s been quite the same since. Our son arrived last year, to add to the fun, and that’s us (for now!) – trying our best to survive.
At Dads Rich Pageant, I hope to write not just about the day-to-day bumps and scrapes encountered by my kids (not to mention Wendy and I) but also the bigger ideas that occur to me in rare moments of clarity. Mostly, I hope to share the immense love I feel for my kids – my pride in their every development, my hopes and dreams for their futures and my fears for them as they grow up all too fast.
I hope it proves helpful to expectant or new dads, or that more experienced dads find something to laugh, cry or reminisce about. And, above all, I look forward to hearing from you about your experiences.
I am from Ireland but have lived in the UK since 2003, when I moved over for work (computer programming) and love (Wendy). I am a techie of sorts, now doing product management and game design at Pora Ora, making educational games and apps for primary school kids.
